Dreamgallery™ Region Management

Present Different TV Portals to Different Customers!

IPTV operators face a dynamic environment where the middleware plays a key role in providing the flexibility to adapt to the constantly changing demands. By using the very flexible and easy-to-use Dreamgallery™ Region Management you can present different TV portals to different customers.

Dreamgallery™ - Not Just One TV Portal

A Dreamgallery™ portal is not just one portal; it is an unlimited number of "portal nodes", together forming a hierarchical structure. By defining different "node rules" based on customer properties such as IP number, postal code, address, etcetera, you can literally present different TV portals to different customers.

Flexible Targeting Based on Customer Properties

You can use many different customer properties when creating node rules for your portal. The standard customer properties implemented in Dreamgallery™ are:

  • IP address (or interval)
  • Postal code/ZIP code
  • Customer address
  • Landlord*
  • Network owner*
  • Backbone*

* if present in the customer database

To further increase the flexibility, Dreampark can easily implement any new customer property, as long as the used field is present in your customer database, and that the corresponding field is exported to Dreamgallery.

TV Portal Adaptations

Look and Feel

By adjusting the menus, templates, icons, pictures, etcetera, on node level you can present TV portals with completely different look and feel to different target groups (e.g. customers having different landlords).

Service Portfolio

You can decide the types of services (VOD services, radio channels, voting features, etcetera) you wish to present to different geographic regions and/or customer groups.

TV Channels

Dreamgallery™ also provides a flexible way to adapt TV channel packaging according to the hierarchical structure. You can add and delete channels, as well as changing multicast on channels, making it possible for you to present TV portals with completely different TV channel packages to different geographic regions and/or customer groups.
